June 2025 Yard of the Month
The June 2025 Yard of the Month winners are Mark and Becky Sapp at 3490 Brook Landing Ct.
They moved here in 2021. Family: Mark, Becky, Josh, Landyn, Emmett the Great Dane and Toby (mix/ smaller dog).
Mark is a Coiline operator. Becky is a school nurse for southeast Polk schools.
Mark does most of the lawn work and watering. Becky takes care of the birds and deck plants. Plants: hostas, lillies, lilac bushes, dailies, petunias. Spring is their favorite time of year. They love bringing their yard back to life.
They love the home feeling of Brook Run. And say we have the best neighborhood around. Fun in the run and all the activities separate us from other neighborhoods. It has been so much fun living here.
They were given a $25 Lowe's gift card along with the privilege of having the Yard of the Month sign in their yard. Congratulations!
May 2025 Yard of the Month
The May 2025 Yard of the Month winners are Terry Wilson and Barb Bailey of 3050 E 52nd.
Terry and Barb have lived in Brook Run since 2019. They believe that they have some of the best neighbors in the community!
Terry is a retired bridge inspector from Missouri DOT and currently does bridge inspector consulting. Barb works at Wellmark Blue Cross & Blue Shield.
Terry gets credit for all of the yard work. He enjoys working in the yard and garden.
